Process Flow
Design and Development
Determine the mirror's size, location, and opening/closing method (e.g., flip-top, magnetic, sliding cover), and plan the internal layout, such as the placement of components like powder dispensers and powder puff holders.
Raw Materials
Select suitable materials, such as plastics (ABS, acrylic, etc.), metals (zinc alloy, aluminum alloy), glass, or PET mirrors.
Mold Making
Build molds based on the design drawings for injection molding plastic parts or die casting metal parts. The precision of the mold directly affects the product's dimensions and appearance quality.
Component Molding
● Injection Molding: Inject plastic raw materials into the mold; after cooling, it forms plastic parts such as the box body, lid, inner liner, and powder dispenser.
● Die Casting: Used to manufacture zinc alloy or aluminum alloy parts, such as mirror frames and hinges, allowing for complex shapes and fine textures.
● Mirror Processing: Cut, grind edges, and apply explosion-proof film to ensure smooth mirror edges and clear imaging.
Surface Treatment
The molded components undergo surface treatments such as spraying, electroplating, hot stamping, and UV coating to enhance the product's texture and aesthetics.
Assembly
The various components are assembled into a complete makeup case. Components are secured using ultrasonic welding, adhesives, mechanical clips, or screws to ensure the mirror fits firmly to the inside of the lid, while also guaranteeing smooth opening and closing and a good seal.
