Our plastic cosmetic bottles combine a practical bottle profile with the advantages of plastic: lower shipping weight, no breakage risk versus glass, and easy, consistent filling. They are supplied empty and fully customizable, suitable for skincare brands, contract manufacturers, and private-label lines.
Each bottle is paired with a cap engineered for a tight seal. Because formulas vary in viscosity and active ingredients, we help you select the right base material (PP as standard; high-barrier options available) and can run compatibility testing before bulk production.
Material & Barrier Options:
- PP (polypropylene) - the body material on this page. Chemically stable against the surfactants, emulsions and most alcohols used in skin care, light, and tolerant of hot fill. It is translucent rather than glass-clear, and its oxygen barrier is modest.
- High-barrier builds - for actives that fail on oxygen or moisture, such as vitamin C, retinol or probiotics, we add an EVOH or PVDC layer inside a PP or coextruded structure. Barrier comes from the build, not from the resin name. No single material protects every formula, and we do not quote one as if it did.
- Closure - this bottle ships with a press-top (disc-top) PP cap and a clear overcap. A flat screw cap with an F217 or PE foam liner, a lotion pump or a flip-top will run on the same neck. Tell us the fill viscosity and we match the orifice.

Q7: How do I choose between PP, PET and acrylic for my formula?
A: Start from what the formula does to the plastic, not from how it looks. PP handles surfactants, emulsions and most alcohols and is the safe default for lotions, cleansers and toners that carry alcohol. PET gives you glass-like clarity and a better oxygen barrier, so it suits toner and clear serum, but it stress-cracks with acetone, esters and citrus oils. Acrylic gives the heaviest, clearest wall for cream jars and is the wrong choice for anything alcohol- or oil-heavy. Send the formula and we confirm the resin before you commit to tooling.
Q8: Will these PP bottles hold an alcohol-based toner or an essential-oil blend?
A: Yes for PP, with a liner matched to the solvent. Ethanol at 20 percent and above is fine in PP; essential-oil blends are fine too, though the liner moves from PE foam to an F217 or PTFE-faced option. The materials to avoid for those fills are PET, PETG and acrylic, which stress-crack rather than dissolve. We run a 4-week fill test at 40 °C on request and report weight loss, dimension change and liner compression set.
