Design and Mold Making
3D Modeling
Designers create digital models based on product requirements (such as capacity, shape, opening and closing mechanism), determining the appearance and structure of the cosmetic jar.
Mold Design and Machining
Precision CNC machine tools are used to machine the mold steel into molds that can withstand high temperatures and pressures, ensuring mold precision and durability.
Injection Molding
● Raw Material Preparation: Suitable plastic granules (such as PP, PET, etc.) are selected and dried to remove moisture and avoid affecting molding quality.
● Injection Molding Process: The plastic granules are heated to a molten state (usually 200℃-300℃), and the molten plastic is injected into the mold cavity through the screw of the injection molding machine.
● Cooling and Demolding: The plastic cools and solidifies rapidly within the mold, and then the semi-finished cosmetic jar is ejected from the mold by a robotic arm or ejector pin.
Subsequent Processing
● Surface Treatment: According to design requirements, the cosmetic jar undergoes surface treatments such as printing, hot stamping, spraying, and vacuum coating to enhance its aesthetics and brand recognition.
● Assembly: If the cosmetic jar includes components such as a lid and sealing ring, assembly and welding (e.g., ultrasonic welding) are required to ensure sealing and stability.
Quality Inspection
● Appearance Inspection: Inspect the product surface for defects, scratches, bubbles, etc.
● Dimensional Measurement: Check the dimensional accuracy of the cosmetic jar to ensure it meets design requirements.
● Functional Testing: Test the sealing performance and smoothness of opening and closing to ensure the product functions properly.
